KEITH ANGELIN, LAADC, CNMI is a licensed alcohol and drug therapist, a interventionist and substance abuse assessment specialist. Currently he is the force behind Counseling, Intervention & Assessment Services (San Diego). His credentials are listed on the CCAPP.org professional directory.
Keith received his counseling certification at the University of California, San Diego; and his master's degree at Hofstra University, in New York. He began his counseling career working with the Salvation Army Adult Recovery Center located in the heart of downtown San Diego. He then served as Counseling Supervisor for a multi-facility treatment program, before entering into private practice.
Recently he published AT HOME RECOVERY HANDBOOK: Recover From Alcohol and Drug Addiction in 28-days At Home! He is an expert writer on addiction-recovery topics for numerous publications, including Homeland Magazine and Best Self Magazine. He actively supports PATRIOTIC HEARTS', a 501(c)3 charity providing essential services and assistance to United States military veterans and their families. In the past, he has sat on the board of the San Diego chapter of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence.
Prior to chemical dependency counseling, he spent two-decades as a marketing executive in the health and nutrition industry, holding executive positions with leading companies such as Weight Watchers and MET-Rx. He has worked with numerous professional athletes and celebrities, including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, and the Dallas Cowboys. That was before he became addicted to drugs and alcohol. His decade-long battle left him bankrupt, homeless, divorced and legally dead on three occasions. Now he helps fellow sufferers and their families recover from this devastating affliction.
